Even though their West Coast cities are miles apart, Liz and Lea’s love of makeup, products and beauty routines has always brought them together, from the time Lea helped Liz pick out her first eyeshadow brush in Junior High (it was Sonia Kashuk and yes, she still has it!), to a pre-wedding Sephora haul to find the best lipstick for Lea’s Big Day (it was NARS Brigitte and she still wears it all the time).

Busy days at a non-profit arts organization in LA mean her look needs to last from morning meetings to after-hours events. Values products with efficient packaging, long-wear, and multiple uses that can be applied while waiting at a red light (did we mention Liz is not a morning person?). Points for new releases, drugstore finds and anything with sparkle.

“Me time” and disposable income are valuable commodities for this new mom. Quality over quantity generally prevails and most of her focus is on skincare. Even though she’s a mom, she’s also a wife and scientist, so feeling beautiful via ingredients she can stand behind is a plus. All-natural when possible but not at the expense of performance- granola is reserved for eating.
